The Committee on Finance Revenue Subcommittee moves to amend the bill on page three, section two, beginning on line fifty-three, following the words “of this code”, by striking out the period and inserting the words “and is a person who has developed a business plan to invest in business concerns in this state under this article and has successfully solicited one or more growth investors to make capital investments in the growth fund under this article in support of the plan”, followed by a period;

On page three, section two, line fifty-seven, by striking out the citation “§33-3-15” and the comma;

On page three, section two, line sixty-three, following the words “under said sections”, by striking out the period and inserting a colon and the following:  “Provided, That no provision of this article shall be construed or operate to reduce distributions or allocations otherwise required to be made for purposes other than for deposit in the general revenue fund, if applicable, under §33-3-33, §33-3-14, §33-3-14a, §33-3-14d, §33-3-14e and §33-3-33 of this code.”;

On pages four through nine, by substituting the words “applicant growth fund” and “applicant growth fund’s” for the words “applicant” and "applicant’s” where found;

On page seven, section five, line six, following the words “credit is claimed” and the period, by inserting the words “No credit may be claimed under this article against a growth investor’s state tax liability for any investor’s tax year that begins prior to 2029”, followed by a period;

On page nine, section seven, line twelve, following the words “subdivision (4)”, by striking out the semicolon and inserting the words “of this subsection” followed by a semicolon.; and

On page ten, section seven, line eighteen, following the words “subdivision (1)”, by striking out the semicolon and inserting the words “of this subsection” followed by a semicolon.
